Our True Matt Emulsion and Stedfast Matt Emulsion are interior paints. Both are suitable for lime and gypsum plaster as well as previously painted walls and ceilings. For high-maintenance or high-traffic areas like kitchens and bathrooms, we recommend using our Steadfast Matt Emulsion, as it is formulated to be more robust and scrubbable. 

Our Wood & Metal paint is suitable for interior and exterior use. It is perfect for skirting boards, interior doors, wooden furniture, metal radiators, window frames and other interior or exterior wood or metal surfaces. It is available in three finishes, from matt to gloss. Our glossier True Eggshell and Soft Gloss are recommended for use in high-maintenance areas. 

We recommend applying one coat of our color-matched primer before using any of our Wood & Metal paints.

No primer is needed for our True Matt Emulsion and Stedfast Emulsion.

Yes, our paint is suitable for all kind of properties.

You can use our True Matt Emulsion and our Steadfast Matt Emulsion on all lime and gypsum freshly plastered, or previously painted surfaces. Our emulsions don’t contain any plastic and are formulated to be extremely breathable which is why they are perfect for old and historic buildings, as well as homes built from breathable materials. They offer the best moisture regulation, damp prevention, and resistance to mould and the dreaded structural damage.  

Yes. As our paint is PH neutral, you can paint over all lime and water based previously painted surfaces. Best practice is proper sanding to break the surface, a thorough clean (we like white vinegar), followed by two coats of breathable paint. Find out more in our Product and Application guides.

As a rule of thumb, 1 litre of our Emulsions covers 12-15m2, whereas 1 litre of our Wood & Metal paints covers 10-12m2.
